Swayam Deep Society is a registered organization under society act, Based in Lohaghat block, Champawat, Uttarakhand. The main objectives of the organisation is to establish the technical and management institution in the hill areas for upliftment of education and provide the opportunities to youth.

Uttarakhand, made internationally famous by the chipko movement led by the women of the area in April 1973. Uttarakhand, previously known as Uttaranchal is the 27th State of the Republic of India. It attained its statehood on November 9, 2000 after years of struggle. The birth of Uttaranchal was the culmination of a regional movement for statehood in which women participated in great numbers and even paid price in the shape of the Muzaffarnagar episode on 1st October 1994.
